Resource Parent Curriculum (Parenting a Child who has Experienced Trauma) Workshop

RPC is designed for families that currently have a child in their care. The curriculum, developed by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN), provides time each session for parents to discuss a particular child in their care and try out new skills and tools that will reduce the stress of parenting a child who has experienced trauma. 16 credit hours toward relicensing. Must have a child currently in your home. This is a grant-funded opportunity to allow this valuable experience to be free of charge with the requirement of 80-100% participation.

This course is led by Katie Robinson and Rachel Rosenfeld. Katie is LCSW that specializes in child therapy, is a former special education educator, and adoptive parent from foster care. Rachel is a veteran school psychologist with over 20 years experience as a foster parent.
